One tiny electrical arc or a bit of leakage, and you&amp;rsquo;ve just contaminated your vacuum or fried a sensitive substrate. It&amp;rsquo;s a nightmare scenario.&#xA;We build these lamps to take a massive amount of heat, but the real &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;battle&lt;/a&gt; is fought at the seals and the quartz envelope. That&amp;rsquo;s where things usually go wrong.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;h2 id=&#34;why-we-test-every-single-lamp&#34;&gt;Why we test every single lamp&lt;/h2&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;Some shops do &amp;ldquo;sample testing&amp;rdquo;—they check one out of every ten and hope for the best. We don&amp;rsquo;t do that. We test&lt;strong&gt;every single lamp&lt;/strong&gt;that leaves our floor for withstand voltage and insulation resistance.&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: physics changes in a vacuum. Gases behave differently, and a microscopic crack in a seal or a pinhole in the quartz can suddenly become a highway for an arc.&#xA;We push these lamps with a high-voltage stress test to make sure the insulation actually holds. If a lamp fails? It goes in the scrap bin. Period. It&amp;rsquo;s a lot better to toss a lamp now than to have you install a &amp;ldquo;time bomb&amp;rdquo; that blows a fuse or kills your power supply right in the middle of a critical cycle.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
