Your body absorbs this kind of heat much better than the short-wave stuff. Basically, you feel the same cozy warmth, but you don’t need a blindingly bright bulb to get it. A few tips for installation These fit right into most standard waterproof bathroom fixtures, so you’re good there. Just keep one thing in mind: because we filtered the light to make it safer, the heat doesn’t “throw” quite as far as those raw industrial tubes you see in warehouses. You’ll want to mount them a bit closer to where you actually want the heat. And a quick word of caution—don’t just go for the highest wattage possible in a tiny fixture.
